Cassandra Lee
Cassandra is a long-time community volunteer, lawyer and mother to a toddler. She believes in empowering young parents to balance their caregiving responsibilities with their career aspirations, and is dedicated to serving the needs of the elderly to allow them to age-in-place.
As a volunteer, Cassandra led various initiatives in support of the causes she believes in. Cassandra led efforts across the Jurong divisions to support young parents in balancing their careers with caregiving needs such as raising awareness on the new Family Justice Rules and Tripartite Guidelines on Flexible Work Arrangement Requests, and promoting flexible, part-time and micro-job employment options to those who are contemplating or have taken career breaks. A strong advocate for the elderly, Cassandra led efforts to improve barrier free accessibility to enable seniors to age-in-place and continue participating in the local community in their old age.
Cassandra is currently an Assistant Director, Singapore Technology Legal Counsel, at EY Singapore, where she leads the technology and artificial intelligence practice for the Singapore general counsel’s office and the ASEAN excellence centre. Cassandra led the successful transformation of technology contracting practices in Singapore to improve service delivery, and continues to streamline processes for increased efficiency and scalability. Prior to joining EY, Cassandra was in the Singapore Legal Service where she served as State Counsel and Deputy Public Prosecutor in the Civil Division of the Attorney General’s Chambers. Cassandra started her career in Enterprise Singapore, where she was part of Singapore’s negotiation team for multilateral and bilateral free trade agreements and represented Singapore at ASEAN and APEC.
In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son.
